In recent years, people's demand for sports venues has increased day by day. Huai'an City has made full use of the city's available space and continuously improved the construction of sports facilities by using local resources, so that citizens can exercise freely near their homes.

The "embedded" renovation refers to the construction of public sports facilities that can provide exercise and fitness services for all ages according to local conditions in communities, park green spaces, under-bridge spaces, building roofs and other areas. Huai'an City has incorporated the construction of embedded sports venues into the municipal government's livelihood projects for many years. In 2025, the city plans to build 52 new embedded sports venues and update 250 sets of outdoor fitness equipment and facilities, so as to further form a "15-minute physical fitness circle" with rich supply, reasonable layout and perfect functions, create more convenient sports scenes according to local conditions, build a higher level public service system for national fitness, and continuously enhance people's sense of gain and happiness.
