At 2:04 on March 1, an all-cargo aircraft loaded with cross-border e-commerce export goods roared into the air. Under the supervision of Huai'an Customs officers, it flew directly from Huai'an Lianshui International Airport to Osaka, Japan, marking the official opening of the international all-cargo aircraft flight route from Huai'an to Osaka. This flight route marks the first time that Huai'an Lianshui International Airport has innovatively adopted the model of "mixed loading in domestic driving section". Through the flexible operation of "one aircraft with multiple stations", it opens up an air channel for the rapid circulation of foreign trade import and export goods, especially cross-border e-commerce goods, which means that Huai'an has taken a new step towards opening to the outside world.

Huai'an Lianshui International Airport is the 66th airport open to the outside world in China. It has accumulatively opened to 41 domestic and foreign cities, covering 26 provincial capitals, with an annual passenger throughput of up to 2.34 million person-times. In recent years, Huai'an Lianshui International Airport has made use of its comprehensive transportation advantages to innovate development paths and develop the hub economy with high quality.

At present, the international all-cargo aircraft flight route from Huai'an to Osaka is operated by Shandong Airlines with 1 shift per day and a cargo loading capacity of about 13 tons. The efficient and stable transportation capacity will greatly improve the logistics transportation efficiency between Huai'an and Osaka.

The opening of the international all-cargo aircraft flight route from Huai'an to Osaka has filled the gap in cargo routes between northern Jiangsu and surrounding areas and Japan, marking an important step for Huai'an to build a regional collection center for cross-border trade with Japan. This route not only realizes the next-day delivery of Huai'an's exports to Japan, but also achieves a 4-day air-to-air intermodal delivery from Huai'an to Europe and America via Japan. It will help enterprises in Huai'an and its surrounding areas expand their international markets and better empower the development of the real economy.
