In 2024, the intelligent manufacturing equipment industry in Huai'an City has 108 newly started projects and 80 newly completed projects worth over RMB 100 million each, up by 21 and 16 respectively year-on-year. In 2025, Huai'an City will take the intelligent manufacturing equipment industry as an important support to promote the high-quality development of industrial economy and accelerate its industrial development.

Make every effort to advance the projects. We will further explore the direction of industrial development, subdivide the development track of intelligent manufacturing equipment, focus on leading backbone enterprises, make good use of investment promotion tools such as industry funds, carry out industrial chain investment promotion, and promote the formation of industrial clusters. By 2025, 72 intelligent manufacturing equipment industry projects will be implemented with a total investment of RMB 39.6 billion.

Vigorously promote innovation and transformation. We will seize the opportunity of large-scale equipment renewal policy, and accelerate the organization and implementation of a number of transformation and upgrading projects around the renovation of old equipment, energy conservation and carbon reduction. Intensify the cultivation of specialized, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative equipment industrial clusters, promote high-quality development inspection on a regular basis, and cultivate and guide more equipment manufacturing enterprises to improve their development level through professional, sophisticated, distinctive and innovative paths.

Focus on improving service quality and efficiency. Actively strive for relevant national and provincial support policies, and increase the support for the enterprise's first (set of) equipment. We will continue to carry out supply-demand matchmaking activities for industries such as industrial mother machines and instruments, continuously improve the functions of the "Huai Enterprises' Small Secretaries" service platform, and optimize comprehensive services such as policy guidance, financial services, intracity supporting facilities and market promotion. Organize enterprises to participate in the World Intelligent Manufacturing Conference, China International Industry Fair and other exhibitions to help them enhance their brand awareness and influence.
