During the Spring Festival holiday that just passed, a variety of activities were held in characteristic countryside villages in Huai'an City, attracting many tourists. Various tourism elements such as featured scenic spots, intangible cultural heritage activities, personalized B&Bs, authentic delicacies and folk performances were widely praised. According to preliminary statistics, the city's characteristic countryside villages held more than 200 activities, received 228,800 tourists, and achieved a total tourism revenue of more than RMB 18 million.

In recent years, based on the characteristics of resources, all characteristic countryside villages in Huai'an City have promoted the deep integration and development of agriculture, culture and tourism. The scale of rural tourism has continued to expand, the business forms have gradually enriched, and the product structure has been continuously optimized. Huai'an City will adhere to the guidance of planning, continuously improve the basic supporting facilities for rural tourism, highlight local characteristics, and use rural tourism to increase farmers' income, optimize the living environment, and contribute to the overall revitalization of the countryside.
