In recent years, an increasing number of enterprises in Huai'an City have accelerated their "Intelligent Transformation, Digital Upgrade, and Network Connectivity", transitioning from traditional manufacturing to intelligent manufacturing. In 2024, Huai'an City was recognized with 217 demonstration enterprises at or above the provincial level for "Intelligent Transformation, Digital Upgrade, and Network Connectivity", more than double the total number in previous years. Among them, the number of newly established smart workshops, industrial Internet platforms, and five-star cloud enterprises all surpassed the total number from previous years.

To support enterprises in their "Intelligent Transformation, Digital Upgrade" and help them overcome the challenges of being hesitant or unsure about the transformation, Huai'an City has carried out a "Knock-on-the-Door Action". This initiative involves organizing experts to provide guidance based on the issues and gaps identified in the free diagnosis reports and application materials of various enterprises, while continuously advancing the informatization development of businesses. In 2024, 359 enterprises received online diagnostics, and 584 enterprises were promoted to implement the "Intelligent Transformation, Digital Upgrade, and Network Connectivity" projects. After its digital transformation, King's Luck's brewing efficiency became 3.75 times higher than manual brewing. The cost per ton of liquor was reduced by 17% compared to manual production, and water and steam consumption during the production process decreased by 13% and 30.8%, respectively. Qing Ding Precision Electronics (Huaian) Co., Ltd. has achieved information management and control across the entire lifecycle from order placement to after-sales service. The on-time delivery rate of orders has increased to 100%, and the numerical control rate and networking rate of key equipment have both reached 100%.

Huai'an City has also refined its service system and optimized the resource pool of service providers.  The adjusted resource pool now includes 100 high-quality service providers across five areas: system integration, infrastructure, industrial software, intelligent equipment, and consulting services. These providers offer comprehensive services, including consulting, design, implementation, and maintenance, to manufacturing enterprises in Huai'an City, thereby lowering the barriers and risks associated with enterprise transformation.
