The 2025 Spring Festival travel period runs from January 14 to February 22, lasting a total of 40 days. During this year's travel rush, Huai'an Airport expects to transport 200,000 passengers, with a total of approximately 2,100 flights.
To ensure a safe, convenient, and enjoyable travel experience for passengers during the Spring Festival, Huai'an Airport has implemented several warm-hearted service initiatives while maintaining stable operations on all routes. In terms of routes, flights are available to 30 cities, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu, with an expected weekly flight frequency of up to 398. Additionally, the frequency for the Jieyang route has been increased, and the Wenzhou route has been reinstated. In terms of airport services, new "Party Member Pioneer Stations" and "Volunteer Love Stations" have been established to assist late-arriving passengers, military personnel, and those who are elderly, weak, sick, disabled, pregnant, or carrying multiple pieces of luggage. Volunteers are arranged in high-traffic areas to provide help to travelers in need. Innovative services such as "Priority for Special Passengers" and "Quick Pass for Late Arrivals" have been launched to offer care and support to vulnerable groups and urgent travelers. The "Warm Winter 26°C Winter Clothing Storage" service has been upgraded to deliver winter clothing to the boarding gate based on the return time provided by travelers, allowing them to feel warmth immediately upon disembarking. Additionally, for cargo owners who may not be in Huai'an during the Spring Festival and are unable to collect their goods in a timely manner (limited to general cargo), the free storage period for incoming general cargo has been extended from the original 3 days to 8 days.
To celebrate the upcoming Spring Festival, Huai'an Airport has also set up colorful and festive creative art displays to create a strong holiday atmosphere. During their waiting time, passengers can participate in interactive activities organized by the airport, such as creative check-ins, a future post office, and "return home tickets", making their journey more enriching and enjoyable.
