Since 2024, Huai'an has successively issued the Action Plan for Promoting Large-scale Equipment Renewals and Consumer Goods Trade-ins in Huai'an City and the Action Plan for Promoting Industrial Equipment Upgrades in Huai'an City. Focusing on accelerating the high-end upgrading of equipment, the "Intelligent Transformation, Digital Upgrade, and Network Connectivity", green and low-carbon transformation and intrinsic safety improvement, it has strengthened policy briefings, supply and demand matching and government-bank-enterprise cooperation, continuously stimulating the enthusiasm of enterprises in Huai'an to update equipment, improve technologies and expand capacity. Nearly 15,000 sets of equipment in the industrial field in the city have been updated, driving an investment of more than RMB 12 billion. The much more high-end, more intelligent and greener enterprises has made their core competitiveness continue to be enhanced.

In the "Precision Forging Project for New Energy Vehicle Precision Gears" implemented by Jiangsu Shuanghuan Gear Co., Ltd., it planned to invest RMB 200 million in total, phase out 85 sets of old equipment with high energy consumption and great environmental impact such as gear hobbing machines, gear edge grinding and chamfering machines and others, purchase 141 sets of advanced, industrial robots, 1500T multi-directional extrusion quick forging presses and other equipment, upgrade the carburizing heat treatment process, reduce the product defect rate by more than 60% and increase the production yield rate to more than 95%. Meanwhile, through the transformation and upgrading of industrial Internet, energy management systems and workshop logistics systems, the numerical control rate of key equipment has hit 100%, the automatic data transmission rate between the data collection and analysis system and the MES system has reached 100%, and the comprehensive efficiency of equipment has reached 85%, more than 20% higher than that before the transformation; The energy consumption per unit of output value of the project has reduced by 2.7% compared with that before transformation, which is far better than the provincial energy-saving target and reaches the advanced level in the industry.
