Huai'an City Experiences Steady Income Growth and Stable Employment Market

In the first three quarters, Huai'an City's residents saw their per capita disposable income reach RMB 31,560, marking a year-on-year increase of 5.6%. This includes wage income at RMB 17,273 (up 5.6%); net operating income at RMB 6,460 (up 4.9%); net property income at RMB 1,923 (down 0.2%); and net transfer income at RMB 5,903 (up 8.6%). Breaking it down by permanent residence, urban residents enjoyed a per capita disposable income of RMB 38,949 (up 4.6%), while rural residents had RMB 20,782 (up 7.1%). The income ratio between urban and rural residents narrowed to 1.87, decreasing by 0.04 from the previous year's figure.

The city's newly registered market entities totaled 57,100, including 19,200 newly registered enterprises and 37,700 individual businesses. In terms of employment, the city created new jobs for 32,200 people in urban areas; re-employed 20,100 previously unemployed individuals; and helped re-employ about 6,900 people facing employment challenges.
