To better meet consumer needs, Huai'an has launched the 2024 Autumn Automobile Consumption Subsidy Program, themed "Happy Huai'an, Secure Consumption", running from September 25 to October 31. During this event, various promotional packages totaling over RMB 100 million, including vehicle model discounts and trade-in subsidies, will be offered in collaboration with banks and automobile dealerships. Notably, RMB 9.6 million of e-RMB consumption red packets will be distributed in partnership with the Huai'an Branch of China Construction Bank.  During the event, individual consumers in Huai'an who purchase passenger cars with seven or fewer seats from participating enterprises can receive e-RMB consumption red packets. Additionally, those who qualify for car scrapping and replacement can benefit from a trade-in subsidy of up to RMB 24,000.

The specific subsidy standards are as follows: If the invoice amount is between RMB 50,000 (inclusive) and RMB 150,000 (exclusive), each vehicle will receive an e-RMB consumption red packet of RMB 2,000. For invoice amounts between RMB 150,000 (inclusive) and RMB 250,000 (exclusive), each vehicle will be subsidized with an e-RMB consumption red packet of RMB 3,000. If the invoice amount is more than RMB 250,000 (inclusive), each vehicle will receive an e-RMB consumption red packet of RMB 4,000. Car owners who qualify for both the trade-in policy and the autumn promotion subsidy policy are eligible for combined benefits.
