Since this year, in order to promote the detailed implementation of the Three-year Action Plan for Improving the Quality of Care Services for Rural Left-behind Children and Children in Difficulty in Huai'an City and improve their living standard, Huai'an civil affairs departments have continuously deepened the active identification mechanism for children in difficulty and provided targeted guarantee for them from life, medical care, education and other aspects.
In H1, Huai'an City invested RMB 47.2968 million, marking an increase of 10.03% compared with the same period last year. From January to June, a total of RMB 45.4573 million was paid as basic living allowances for 7,044 children in difficulty, up 14.4% YoY. The security level has been steadily improved. The municipal investment reached RMB 1.311 million, introducing social organizations to carry out a series of activities such as "Jointly Protecting the Future", "Care, Protection and Management Project for Minors", "Heart Sail Navigation", "Health Examination" and "Warmth to Children" for children in difficulty in the city. The city provided 205 children in difficulty with "Tomorrow Plan" relief funds of RMB 193,500 for self-paid projects such as diagnosis and treatment and physical examination. A student subsidy of RMB 335,000 was provided for 57 orphans in colleges and technical secondary schools.
