On the morning of May 22, the 4th Huaihe River Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention opened. Shi Zhijun, Secretary of the CPC Huai'an Municipal Committee, delivered a speech. Xu Kaixin, Deputy Director of the Provincial United Front Work Department and Director of the Provincial Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, attended the opening ceremony and gave a speech. Representatives of entrepreneurs such as Shen Qingfang, Chairman of Zhen Ding Tech. Group, Qin Ronghua, Chairman of the Board of Minth Group, and Xie Yi, Executive Vice President of the China Federation of Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurs and Senior Vice Chairman of CP Group, also delivered speeches.

Nearly 200 well-known representatives of overseas Chinese community leaders and Chinese entrepreneurs attended the opening ceremony, including Hu Ming, Deputy Secretary General of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and Vice Chairman of Jiangsu Federation of Industry and Commerce, Qi Shouyu, Chairman of the Huai'an Municipal Committee of the CPPCC, Sun Jin, Deputy Director of Department of Commerce of Jiangsu Province, Zhang Ni, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Jiangsu Returned Overseas Chinese, and municipal leaders such as Zhao Zhenglan, Wu Xiaodan, Xu Zijia, Lin Xiaoming, Zhou Yi, Zhang Chonglin, and Zhang Huiyang. Zhao Zhenglan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Huai'an Municipal Committee, presided over the opening ceremony.

During the convention, 211 projects were signed with a total investment of RMB 148.64 billion, including 13 projects worth more than RMB 5 billion.

This convention insists on city-county linkage and has conducted many warm-up activities in the previous period. During the convention, in addition to signing a number of high-quality projects, 10 sub-activities such as the Huai'an tour by the top 100 enterprises, professional matchmaking, and symposiums will be organized.

The 4th Huaihe River Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention is themed "Investing in Huai'an, Sharing the Dream". It is based on the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, focuses on the mutual benefit and win-win cooperation in the Huaihe River Basin, and strives to promote the construction of a new pattern of all-round opening up with the Huaihe Ecological Economic Belt and the Integrated Development of the Yangtze River Delta complementing each other, providing more new options, new directions, and new possibilities for entrepreneurs to invest and start businesses in Huai'an.
