On the afternoon of April 1, a signing ceremony was held to deepen cooperation between the Huai'an Municipal Government and Nanjing Medical University (NMU), aimed at promoting the construction of the NMU Northern Jiangsu Institute of Clinical Medicine.

In recent years, Huai'an has borne in mind and executed the earnest instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping, meticulously implemented the strategic plans and demands of the provincial party committee and government, and exerted every effort to accelerate high-quality leapfrog development. Its economic and social advancements have exhibited an encouraging pattern characterized by swift expansion, robust vitality, and unwavering optimism. NMU is a national "Double First-Class" university and boasts a solid foundation for cooperation with Huai'an. Over the years, both sides have achieved fruitful results in hospital management system innovation, medical level improvement, and talent team building. The deepening of cooperation and co-construction of the Northern Jiangsu Institute of Clinical Medicine represents a concrete action in refining and executing the strategies laid out by the provincial party committee and government regarding north-south coordinated development and stands as a significant step in enhancing the development level and influence of Huai'an. It is also necessary for the deep integration of resources and advantages of both sides, empowering Huai'an to demonstrate its "symbolic significance" on a new journey of modernization and contributing to transforming NMU into a distinctive "double first-class" medical university.
