Huai'an City Residents' Incomes Show Steady Growth, and the Local Job Market Remains Stable

In the first three quarters of this year, the per capita disposable income of Huai'an residents reached 29,875 yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of 6.6%. This rise can be attributed to various income sources: wage income saw a notable boost at 16,354 yuan, a 7.4% increase; net operating income grew to 6,157 yuan, a 2.5% uptick; net income from property experienced an increase of 3.2%, reaching 1,927 yuan; and net transfer income surged by 10.1% to 5,437 yuan. When categorizing residents by their permanent residence status, urban residents' per capita disposable income reached 37,220 yuan, reflecting a 5.6% increase. Meanwhile, rural residents' per capita disposable income saw a substantial rise, reaching 19,410 yuan, an 8.1% increase. This resulted in an urban-rural income ratio of 1.92, marking a modest decrease of 0.04 compared to the same period last year.

The city of Huai'an has witnessed the registration of 62,600 new market entities, including 20,700 newly registered enterprises, a growth of 6.1%, and 41,900 newly registered individual businesses. As of the end of September, the city's urban areas created 47,600 new job opportunities, effectively re-employing 30,300 urban residents who were previously unemployed.
