With rise of new industries such as new energy vehicles, photovoltaics, and new energy batteries in recent years, Huai’an government has established special teams at the county (district) and city levels to advance the large-scale development and industrial chain cultivation of these industries. As a result, the output value of these enterprises increased by 42.9% year-on-year in the first half of this year. A batch of major projects worth five or 10 billion yuan were signed in Huai’an and some have went into operation.

To develop emerging industries by placing technology and innovation in a more prominent position, Huai’an worked out the Research Report on Three New Industries. This report analyzed the three industries from various aspects, including their industry status, development trends, and upstream and downstream of the industry chain. Additionally, Huai’an drew an industry chain graph and sorted out the target enterprises in each link of the industry chain, providing precise investment information for office parks, districts and counties. At the same time, project investment information has been obtained through business attraction and investment attraction from associations, and industry summits are expected to be held.
