National Royal Treasures Exhibition Held in Huai’an

Recently, the establishment of the Huai'an Municipal Museum and the opening ceremony of the “Special Art Exhibition of National Royal Treasures” were held at the Huai'an Museum.

The exhibition was jointly organized by the Huai'an Museum, Poly Art Museum, Yangzhou Museum, and Zhenjiang Museum to allow the audience to have a close look at the national treasures, and experience the wandering journey home of the national treasures. The exhibition includes the heads of the cow, the tiger, the monkey, the pig, and the horse from the twelve zodiac animal heads of the Summer Palace zodiac, as well as national treasures and cultural relics used in the Qing Dynasty palace, such as porcelain, bronze, jade, and Buddha statues. It is the most concentrated display of exquisite cultural relics of the Qing Dynasty palace in Huai'an in the past few decades. It is also an exhibition jointly held by most museums. This special exhibition not only demonstrates the achievements of the construction of the Huai'an Museum, but also the bold attempt of Huai’an museum to explore market-oriented operation in Huai'an. The exhibition will last until December.
