A total of 4,005 new parking spaces have been built in Huai’an in the first nine months, ensuring the provincial livelihood project (Adding 4,000 Parking Spaces in 2023) is completed ahead of schedule.

Adhering to the concept of “Putting People First”, Huai’an government has been making significant efforts to meet citizens’ needs since the beginning of this year. Firstly, Huai’an government identified the challenges and difficulties in parking in major urban areas of Huai’an. Then, it tapped into the potential of road parking resources to renovate old residential areas and tourist attractions in collaboration with relevant departments and local units. At the same time, it actively guided this project to improve the construction standards of parking lots and optimize parking service.

The Municipal Urban Management Bureau will continue the intelligent transformation of existing parking resources to increase the turnover and utilization of public parking spaces. Additionally, the Municipal Urban Management Bureau will implement the construction of the Smart City to meet the growing parking needs of the public and the needs of urban development.
