Huai’an plans to build and renovate 422.872 kilometers of rural roads and nine bridges, and implement a 1535-kilometer safety and life protection project in 2023. These projects will require a total investment of 1.389 billion yuan.
By August, the projects had completed an investment of 956 million yuan, which accounts for 68.83% of the total investment. Significant achievements have been made as follows: First, the construction had begun on 426.879 kilometers of rural roads, 233.263 kilometers completed, with a construction rate of 100.95% and a completion rate of 55.16%. Additionally, nine bridges had been under construction, seven completed, with a construction rate of 100% and a completion rate of 77.78%. Furthermore, the safety and life protection project had already begun construction on 1581.956 kilometers, 1153.599 kilometers completed, with a construction rate of 103.06% and a completion rate of 75.15%.
