Huai'an actively responded to the impact of extreme weather in summer like thunders and hails, and mobilized forces at all levels to complete planting, harvesting, and field management in sunny weather. As of June 14th, 4.7552 million mu of wheat in Huai’an has been basically harvested, and the summer planting is been promoted comprehensively. The city plans to plant 4.85 million mu of rice, with 1.9413 million mu already planted, 40% of the total. The planting progress in each county and district has reached the scheduled target.
