Huai'an has been expanding and improving its green spaces and has constructed over 100 "urban green living room spaces" in recent years, benefiting more than 500000 people. It is going to upgrade 15 urban parks, including Donggang Sports Park, Bochishan Park and Chuxiuyuan Park this year.

Now, the upgrading of eight greenbelts such as Xiangzhang greenbelt and Duonaohe greenbelt is underway and the upgrading of two has been completed. The greening project of Donggang Sports Park is underway. The sports and fitness facilities are being installed in this park. The infrastructure, greening, and shoreline treatment projects are being implemented in Bochishan Park and Chuxiuyuan Park.
