Huai'an GDP Increased by 14.1% in the First Half of 2021

According to the latest statistics from the Huai'an Investigation Team of National Bureau of Statistics, in the first half of this year, the city's GDP was RMB 217.446 billion, up 14.1% year-on-year. It achieved an average two-year growth of 6.3%, 0.1 percentage points faster than that of the first quarter. For the primary industry, its added value reached 11.788 billion yuan, up 5.6% year-on-year, with an average two-year growth of 2.7%; the secondary industry added value of 90.482 billion yuan, an increase of 14.9% and an average growth of 6.1%; and there was 115.176 billion yuan of added value in the tertiary industry, a growth of 14.4% compared to the same period of last year and an average growth of 7.0% over two years.
