Analyzing by region, Qingjiangpu District, Huaiyin District, Huai'an District, Huai'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, Industrial Park, and Xuyi County all saw both the number of approved (or recorded) enterprise investment projects and total investment grow year on year. Among these, Huaiyin District had the highest number of approved (or recorded) enterprise investment projects at 1,014, marking a year-on-year increase of 26.12%. Huai'an District had the highest total approved (or recorded) investment at RMB 215.953 billion, a year-on-year increase of 24.88%.

By industry, there were 446 primary industry projects, an increase of 3.48%, with a total investment of approximately RMB 80.836 billion, up 8.06%, accounting for 8% of the city's total investment. There were 4,100 secondary industry projects, reflecting a year-on-year increase of 38.19%, with a total investment of approximately RMB 736.889 billion, up 17.28%, making up 69% of the city's total investment. Lastly, there were 1,354 tertiary industry projects, which saw a decrease of 2.24%, with a total investment of approximately RMB 242.189 billion, down 24.36%, accounting for 23% of the city's total investment.
