     Jiangsu Huai’an Industrial Park is a provincial development zone approved and established in 1995; it is located at the riverside of Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and is in the southern suburb of Qingpu District. Its geographical conditions including location transport and surrounding environment are very excellent. According to its key development industries, it contains Metallurgical Machinery Industrial Park and Salt Chemical Industry Park. Metallurgical Machinery Industrial Park is located at the southwest suburb of Huai’an City, it is adjacent to Huai'an Old Industrial Base, and faces the old urban area across Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, its planned area reaches 10 square kilometers, and its developed area reaches 4 square kilometers; Salt Chemical Industry Park is located at the northern side of waterway of Huai River into the sea and the eastern side of Ning-Lian Arterial Highway, its planned area reaches 15 square kilometers, among which 2 square kilometers has been started up. At present, 113 projects have been invited, whose total investment is about 6 billion yuan, investments of projects including Yingda Gas, Shenzhen Hongye, Xinxin Machine Forging, Crushed Steel Comprehensive Utilization, Shengong Reduction Drive and Ship Mechanism, Long Chain Dibasic Acid, Chengyi Pharmaceutical, Qingjiang Shoes, Gantech Opto-Electronics and Tasly Pharmaceutical are all over 100 million yuan. Investment fields that are encouraged: electronic information, vehicle and components and parts, salt chemical, metallurgical machinery, bio-medicine, new materials, new optoelectronic, software, resources saving and comprehensive utilization, manufacture of modern equipments, modern service industry.

     Its planned area reaches 2000 mou, including 540 mou developed area, “five connections and one leveling” has basically been achieved, and 22 enterprises have settled in the zone and total investment reaches 170 million yuan.

     Its planned area reaches 1500 mou, including 800 mou developed area, “six connections and one leveling” has been basically achieved, and 24 enterprises have settled in the zone and total investment reaches 180 million yuan.

 

      Merchant Inviting Bureau (associated with Economic Development Bureau and Safety Production Supervision Bureau) and Merchant Inviting Service Center are established in Huai’an Industrial Park, they carry out “one station” approval and coordinated services from drafting project proposals to drawing licenses of business and taxation, as well as a set of “assistant handling” and “special handling” services from starting construction to completion and putting into production. Therefore, follow-up services of whole progress and supervision system are carried out, difficulties faced by project units are coordinated and solved in time, and high-quality, effective and satisfactory services are provided for each merchant in the park.
