Recently, Huai'an Municipal Government issued The Investment Schedule for the Major Industrial Projects in Huai'an 2021, which covers 220 projects with a total investment of 80.726 billion yuan.

The major projects include 132 industrial projects, 66 service projects, and 22 agricultural projects. The industrial projects cover eight green food projects, 15 new-generation information technology projects, 32 new equipment manufacturing projects, 13 salt chemistry and new material projects, three new energy projects, 21 light industry projects, six textile projects, 19 building materials projects, six new materials projects, and six biotechnology and technology projects. The service projects include 15 ecological and cultural tourism projects, 12 modern logistics projects, 26 modern commerce and trade projects, one financial service project, five health care projects, and seven service projects of various types. The agricultural projects involve four super high-efficiency planting projects, 15 healthy breeding projects, and three characteristic ecological leisure projects.
