During the first half of this year, Huai'an City has made significant efforts to promote the construction of industrial projects.

In the first six months, all 14 province-level major annual projects commenced construction with a total investment of 12.801 billion yuan, representing 62.88% of the annual plan and an increase of 12.88 percentage points compared to the first 6-month target. Twelve projects have met or exceeded the January-June target, accounting for 85.71% of all projects.

Huai’an completed the investment of 90.564 billion yuan for 400 prefecture-level major industrial projects, representing 61.61% of the annual plan and an increase of 11.61 percentage points compared to the first 6-month target. 354 projects have met or exceeded the January-June schedule, accounting for 88.5% of the total number of projects. 382 projects have started construction, with a construction rate of 95.5%. 136 ongoing projects have completed an investment of 43.068 billion yuan, accounting for 63.93% of the annual plan, and 264 new projects have completed an investment of 47.496 billion yuan, accounting for 59.66% of the annual plan. Additionally, 322 industrial projects, 65 service industry projects, and 13 agricultural projects have completed investments of 74.067 billion yuan, 14.068 billion yuan, and 2.429 billion yuan, respectively.
