On March 2nd this year, Huai'an Municipal People's Government issued the "2022 Key Project Plan of Central City Construction", in an attempt to improve the city's function and image, enhance its agglomeration and radiation effect, and serve local people's livelihood.
In 2022, Huai'an plans to implement 268 key projects in ten categories for central city construction, with a total investment of 133.3 billion yuan and an annual planned investment of 41.3 billion yuan. Among them, there are 13 hub construction projects, with an annual planned investment of 7.6 billion yuan, 53 traffic construction projects with 4.3 billion yuan, and 21 flood control and drainage projects with 470 million yuan; 51 residential environment improvement projects will be invested by 19.1 billion yuan annually, as well as 27 park and green space construction projects by 760 million yuan and 21 Baili Landscape Gallery projects by 2.9 billion yuan; additionally, there are 12 in public health improvement, 28 in education enhancement, 21 in governance capacity building, and 21 in ecological environment management, with an annual planned investment of 820 million yuan, 2.7 billion yuan, 1.06 billion yuan and 1.6 billion yuan, respectively.
