Huaiyin Cigarette Factory is the biggest ratepaying enterprise in Huai’an and an important pillar of Huai’an economy. The enterprise developed from a horseback factory of the New Fourth Army into a top-ranking cigarette factory in China. The enterprise is listed into famous brands of China cigarette, 36 famous and excellent brands of China and 100 cigarette brands of China; it achieved 3.82 billion yuan warehousing tax in 2008.
