On September 28th, the press conference for the 6th China (Huai'an) International Food Expo and Trade Fair, hereinafter referred to as the 6th Food Expo and Trade Fair, was successfully conducted.
Scheduled from October 12th to 14th, the 6th Food Expo and Golden Trade Fair, themed "Green and Innovative Development: Bridging Food and Life," encompasses three key segments: themed exhibitions, economic and trade negotiations, and food consumption. Our approach focuses on internationalization, specialization, and marketization when organizing exhibitions. Building upon previous collaborations, we emphasize integrated development, releasing the “exhibition+” effect, and achieving resonance in organizing exhibitions, conferences, and driving consumption in sync.
In contrast to prior exhibitions, the 6th Food Expo and Trade Fair concentrates on identifying emerging trends and opportunities in industrial development within the current landscape. It places significant emphasis on three key "highlights." This event spotlights industrial positioning and contributes to the development of Huai’an as the gastronomic capital of the world. We have extended invitations to 40 of the top 100 domestic food ingredient and supply chain enterprises, with a special decoration rate exceeding 40%. We have also specially invited catering enterprises, distributors, supply chain companies, and food processing firms, resulting in a group of 6,500 professional attendees and a total of 30,000 procurement participants. Our primary focus is to address the issue of insufficient professional buyers, which has been a concern in the past five food expos. We have organized 16 industrial investment promotions, forums, and competition activities for domestic and international economic and trade institutions. The event underscores interactive connectivity, creating a multidimensional platform for the food industry. The expo features more than 10 activities, including the Huaiyang Cuisine Innovation Forum and the Huai'an Food Industry Investment Promotion Conference, among others. These activities range from theme exhibitions to high-end summits, covering economic and trade investment promotion and food culture exchanges. Market operation is also given priority, with various departments, such as commerce and trade promotion, conducting research on nearly 20 domestic associations, institutions, and enterprises to explore a market-oriented exhibition approach.
After extensive discussions and comparisons, it was decided to partner with Wuhan Shihedao Network Technology Company (Liangzhilong) as the executive party. Together with the Huaiyang Cuisine Group, they will manage investment attraction, forum activities, exhibition management, and other related tasks.
The 6th Food Expo and Trade Fair will further enhance its market-oriented approach by introducing professional exhibitors for investment and exhibitions. Simultaneously, it will host specialized conferences and forums to elevate the level of marketization and specialization in the exhibition. The Huai'an Specialty Food Exhibition Area will include four themed exhibition zones: Municipal Culture and Tourism Group (Huai'an Rice), Xiyou Group, King’s Luck, and Lobster Industry Institute. Additionally, there will be seven county (district) specialty exhibition areas, including Lianshui County, Xuyi County, Jinhu County, Qingjiangpu District, Huai'an District, Huaiyin District, and Hongze District. In the international food exhibition area, nearly 30 globally renowned exhibitors will participate.
