Gong Kai (1222-1306), styled Sheng Yu, literary name Cui Yan, was an outstanding painter and poet in later 13^th century. He had "Gui Cheng Sou Collection" prevalenting in the world. His painting works can be classified as follows: MoGui Zhong Kui, figures, landscapes, flower-and-bird paintings and free sketch horses.
